The Clubs Annual Golf Classic is on in Bunclody Golf Club on Friday 14th of June.
This is one of the vital fundraisers the club runs every year and a great days golf is guaranteed on the fabulous Bunclody Golf Club

Well done to members of our u9 girls and u10 boys teams who took part in the Community games representing Slaney Valley. A great day was had be all. The boys were mentored by u9 manager Stephen Tyrell and u10 manager Johnno Kelly while the girls were mentored by u9 coach Eddie Wall and Sarah Kirwan.

Congratulations to Alena Moore and Katie Moynihan who both made the Wexford U15 County Team this season. Both girls play for our u14 and u16 girls teams and no doubt will be a big addition to the County Squad this season.

Well done to Abbey Murphy who has been selected to play for the Wexford u13 County Team this season.
Abbey plays with our u14 girls team and is looking forward to representing the club on the County Team.

The Club would like to thank Sports Active Wexford for their recent grant aid which helped the club purchase much needed equipment. Without the continued support of organisations like Sports Active Wexford, the club would struggle to continue provide the fantastic facilities and training programs we currently do

The Club held its Annual Underage awards day last Saturday 9th June. Click HERE to see the pictures. A great turnout saw all the underage teams celebrate the end of the season with awards presented for Player of the Year / Merit awards etc. The Club would like to thank all the kids who played for us this season, the coaches for all there hard work and dedication and also all the parents for there continued support. Congratulations to all the members of the Underage Academy who collected their Certificates of Participation after last night's practise.
The Academy finished it's season last night and will break for the summer before returning for next season around August.
The Club would like to thank the coaches Ger Roche, Stephen Tyrell, Greg Donaghy, Paul Murphy and Abbeylee Roche for all their hard work and dedication in teaching the children how to play soccer in a fun and friendly atmosphere this season.
Thanks also to all the parents who supported the Academy and we look forward to all the kids returning in August.


Well done to the Walking Football group who enjoyed playing on Thursday morning in the club.

If you know someone who might be interested in taking part just let them know it's on Thursday mornings at 10am in the clubhouse.

It's a great way for people to socialise and keep active in a fun and friendly way.

Any badminton gear can be bought locally at JL Sports & Leisure on ryland road. We hope the community takes full advantage of this new endevour and the club would like to thank IPB Insurance without whose grant it would not have been possible to complete

The U9, U10 & U11 boys travelled to Donabate on Saturday 03rd of June to take part in the Annual Corn Cairdis tournament hosted this year by St. Ita's. The U10 boys won their age group for the 3rd year in a row with the U11 boys finishing runner-up in their age group. A great day was had by all and the club would like to thank all the players, coaches and parents who helped organise and unsure the kids had a great day. Also thanks to St ita's for there warm welcome. Next year see's Coolmore from Belfast hosting the tournament.

The Club held its U16 / U18 / Womens Awards night on the 02nd of June in Rivers Edge. A great night was had by those in attendance with Player of Year, Top Goalscorer & Merit Awards given out to the teams. Click Senior Womens Awards  for pictures

The Club held its Underage Awards Day on the 27th of May. A great attendance saw players from our U9's up to our U13's receive their end of season awards. The club would like to thank all the Managers, Coaches, Parents, Club Volunteers, Players and supporters for all their support this season.

The club would like to thank the Millrace Hotel for the Bab breakfast stall it set up during the St Patricks Day parade, with all proceeds going towards the club. It is very much appreciated. The FAI recently launched the Phase 1 Implementation booklet (see below) of its  Player Development Plan which is a restructuring of the playing model for underage football both boys & girls to be implemented by all leagues. The hope is that the recommendations when implemented will lead to a greater focus on player development.

Congratulations to the Senior Mens A-Team who made history on Sunday (26th April 2015) by becoming the first club to win back to back Neil O Sullivan Cups after defeating local rivals Tombrack 3-1 in a very good game.

Our two Youth captains, Neil Fitz and Anthony Roche were in the Millrace hotel on Friday 30th of Jan 2015 to welcome our guests from Wyrley Juniors Football Club, who visited us for the weekend. A big welcome was given from everyone at the club with the U10 boys team presenting some gifts before their game on Saturday. We look forward to our newly formed link and the possibilities it offers.
